These aim of these rules are to maintain order in the forum and make navigation for future reference as easy and convenient as possible. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please make the suggestions in the comments below (or vote on and comment on the suggestions made by others)
Only members with the Champion Badge (info below) will have new posts created for them to manage.
All members can comment once they are signed in. Anyone can view without signing in.
Members are encouraged to post links or additional information in the comments below. Members that consistently do this and support our collective efforts at promoting transparency will be awarded with the Ranger Badge.
Members that are outstanding in their effort to consistently provide relevant and verified information will be awarded the Intel Scout Badge as recommended by the relevant Champion(s).

Becoming a Champion
Champion - "a person who fights or argues for a cause or on behalf of someone else"
Champions are given champion badges and can request posts be created for them to manag in the Transparency and Politician Transparency forums.
To become a Champion simply
Click on the chat icon at the bottom of the page
Click on "Let's Chat"
And send a brief summary of the issue that you will like to champion. Select an issue from here or tell us about your own!
We will walk you through the rest
Although this is not necessary, it would be a bonus if you already have a draft of your initial post and the verified information that you have gathered to back up your post so far, but the idea is for you to update your post as your gather new information and when you have the time.
As a Champion, you have the following responsibilities,
Compile, verify and organise all of the information on your issue or cause
Stay informed and current with the issue that you are championing
Respond to/ manage your posts as required.
Whenever new information is attained, place a link in the relevant Politician Transparency post if a new politician or public figure is involved.
Try to hashtag as many relevant people and entities involved. (this makes future referencing easier).
To become a Champion you must agree to follow the following rules
Initial top level post/comment must not include any unverified or opinionated writings or articles.
All opinions and speculations can be freely made in the comments and reply sections below
If a champion is found to be inactive or requests to no longer be champion AND someone else is already willing to take over as champion for a particular cause, the original post will be locked for commenting and a post created for the new champion to manage.
These rules and requirements are not final and will be updated as the need arises.
